Paula, Fantastic detailed photo, the way you have captured the details in the pelican's face is remarkable and I love the way your photo is so clear how you can see the details layers of the feathers. Great expression caught by you of the pelican's expression and the details of the piling that he is standing on. Good idea to blur out the background a little to make the viewer concentrate completely on the pelican.
